Luis A. Marrero, MA, RODP
, MLP is Founding Partner of the Boston Institute for Meaningful Purpose, based in Westfield. Massachusetts and Deltona, Florida. Marrero has worked for and consulted Fortune 100 companies in three continents as a Logoteleologist, Human Resource practitioner, Organization Development Consultant, lecturer, executive coach, executive leadership assessor, and facilitator. He is the pioneer of Logoteleology or Meaningful Purpose Psychology, Second Wave Organization Development (OD 2.0), and coachsulting(c) . He speaks and consults in fluent English and Spanish. During his professional career, Marrero worked for YSC Business Psychologists, the Walt Disney Company (Walt Disney World), LEXIS-NEXIS, and CHRISTUS Health, among others.

In a nutshell. Marrero’s Logoteleology helps individuals, groups, organizations, and nations understand why, despite answers being readily available, problems persist; and how to become part of the solution to succeed. Logoteleology is an optimistic science that explains, and aids individuals, groups, and organizations understand how

  • they prevent themselves from sensing and perceiving what is before them

  • to determine what works and does not work based on empirical science

Marrero is writing an anthology on Meaningful Purpose Psychology. His first and award-winning book is “The Path to a Meaningful Purpose: Psychological Foundations of Logoteleology (2013). Marrero published in May 2022 his second book with co-author Dan Persuitte: Meaningful Purpose: A Primer in Logoteleology (2022). He plans to publish his third book, Logoteleology: A Field Guide for Practitioners, in the near future. After that, he plans to publish the second edition of The Path to a Meaningful Purpose and later his subsequent books, “Revealing the Path to a Meaningful Purpose: Why Humans Thirst for Answers in a Sea of Solutions,” and “Meaningful Purpose Leadership.” He is a prolific writer and lecturer on Meaningful Purpose Psychology. He helps individuals and organizations to find practical ways to build lasting well-being and prosperity through meaningful methods.

Marrero too provides executive, leadership assessment, and coaching services to determine competence and fit for selection, career, and development. As a consultant and leveraging his proprietary meaningful purpose psychology and OD 2.0 methods, he partners with leaders in global companies to increase stakeholder commitment and achieve business results.

He trains and coaches leaders to be their best and help others experience fulfilling work that promotes prosperity and profit for all stakeholders. Marrero also trains psychologists, coaches, counselors, consultants, and Human Resource professionals on the Meaningful Purpose Psychology method. It applies to their respective disciplines (e.g., therapy, coaching, consulting, counseling, incentive systems). He also coaches leaders from around the world.

Marrero is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), and the International Network for Personal Meaning (INPM). In IPPA, Marrero is a co-founder and active member of the Work & Organization Division (W&OD). He served as Lead Chair of the W&OD’s Membership and Partnership Team. Marrero also served for four years as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of INPM, based in Toronto, Canada, and was Editor of the INPM Member Newsletter.
